Core Specification
The first table lists the capacity and size of each DK-D model, as published on the product page. The last column is calculated from the published weight and footprint, and it is an average, not a foundation design value.
| Model | Max table load | Max cutting thickness | Machine weight | Machine dimensions | Average floor load per square meter of footprint |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| DK45D | 400 kg | 450 mm | 1600 kg | 1780 x 1500 x 1700 mm | About 599 kg |
| DK55D | 600 kg | 600 mm | 2000 kg | 2210 x 2030 x 2335 mm | About 446 kg |
| DK63D | 800 kg | 600 mm | 2500 kg | 2420 x 2240 x 2370 mm | About 461 kg |
| DK80D | 1000 kg | 800 mm | 3500 kg | 2600 x 2590 x 2900 mm | About 520 kg |
The second table lists the configuration shared by all four DK-D models.
| Item | DK-D series |
|---|---|
| Standard equipment | High-precision linear rail support, eco-friendly waterproof cover |
| Optional equipment | High-pressure water tank, linear scale |
| Maximum cutting taper | DK55D to DK80D: plus or minus 30 degrees and plus or minus 45 degrees over 80 mm. DK45D: plus or minus 30 degrees over 40 mm |
| Axes and drive | X, Y, U and V four-axis linkage; XY stepper drive standard, AC servo optional |
| Wire | Diameter 0.18 mm with wire guider, feed speed 1 to 11 m/s, storage about 350 m |
| Cutting efficiency | 10,000 to 16,000 square millimeters per hour |
| Surface roughness | Ra 2.5 micrometers or finer |
| Electrical | 3N 380 V plus or minus 10 percent, 2.5 kVA, maximum processing current 6 A |
Applications and Target Customers
Heavy duty machines are bought against a project or a part family. The first table shows the customer groups and what each one cuts, and the second shows the work settings in which a heavy machine is used.
| Customer type | Typical parts | Model direction from the product page |
|---|---|---|
| Large mold and die factories | Die plates, punch blocks, large mold components | DK63D for large mold machining; DK55D for large workpieces |
| Heavy equipment makers | Thick plates and structural components | DK63D and DK80D for extra-large and heavy components |
| Metallurgical suppliers | Wear-resistant parts and mold blanks | DK-D series with the table load matched to the blank |
| Aerospace suppliers | Structural blanks and tooling blanks | DK55D or DK63D, with the taper range required |
| Distributors and project contractors | One heavy machine for a defined customer program | Specification agreed before the quotation |
| Importers | Large machines to resell to factories | Models quoted with weight and crate data |
| Setting | What a heavy machine needs |
|---|---|
| Mold factory | A bay with a load-bearing floor and an overhead crane or forklift for large blanks |
| Foundry or heavy workshop | Space for loading and a dry area for the dielectric tank |
| Maintenance department | Room to reproduce large worn parts from a sample or drawing |
| Project site | Planned unloading, rigging and a level foundation before delivery |
Quality Control Process
The pre-shipment tests stated on the website are static geometric accuracy and dynamic positioning accuracy, measured over the full stroke in both directions. On a heavy machine these tests carry more weight, because geometry and rigidity are what hold accuracy while a large taper is cut through a thick workpiece.
| Stage | Check | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Before shipment | Positioning accuracy test on each machine tool | Stated by the factory |
| Before shipment | Static geometric accuracy | Stated by the factory |
| Before shipment | Dynamic positioning accuracy, full stroke, both directions | Stated by the factory |
| Before delivery | Prepare the foundation and confirm crane capacity against the machine weight | Recommended buyer step |
| On installation | Level the machine and record the readings | Recommended buyer check |
| First cut | Cut a test block at the required taper and measure the angle and the size | Recommended buyer check |
| In service | Check the lubrication and the wire guides on a fixed interval | Recommended buyer practice |
The product pages advise an operating environment with stable temperature, no strong magnetic interference, a load-bearing floor and adequate ventilation.
Production Capacity and Lead Time
Heavy machines take longer to build, ship and install than small ones, so planning starts at the inquiry. The factory in Jiulong Town, Hailing District, Taizhou produces the PS-C, DK-D, DK-BC and DK-77 series, and the company exports select models to Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and the Americas. Lead time for a DK-D machine depends on the model, the options and the customization, and it is given in the quotation.
| Planning item | How it is handled |
|---|---|
| Minimum order quantity | Stated in the quotation |
| Lead time | Stated by model and option, and written into the contract |
| Custom build | DK80D and above are noted as customizable, with the schedule agreed after specification |
| Payment terms | Stated in the quotation; staged payments can be discussed for project orders |
| Installation planning | Foundation, crane and electrical supply are confirmed before delivery |
| Information needed to quote | Part drawing, maximum weight, material, taper angle, voltage and destination |
Ask for the completion date, the date the pre-shipment accuracy tests are finished and the date the machine is handed to the forwarder, and keep all three in the contract so the plant can plan its foundation work against them.
Procurement FAQ
- Q: How much can the worktable carry?
- A: The published maximum worktable load is 400 kg for the DK45D, 600 kg for the DK55D, 800 kg for the DK63D and 1000 kg for the DK80D. The load includes the workpiece and its fixtures.
- Q: How thick a workpiece can it cut?
- A: The maximum cutting thickness is 450 mm on the DK45D, 600 mm on the DK55D and DK63D, and 800 mm on the DK80D.
- Q: What do we need to prepare before delivery?
- A: A level foundation on a load-bearing floor, a crane or heavy forklift for unloading, a three-phase 380 V supply, and space for the dielectric tank. The weights and sizes on this page help the plant engineer plan these.
- Q: Can a machine be built larger than the DK80D?
- A: The product page notes that customizable options are available for the DK80D and above. Send the part drawing, the maximum weight and the taper angle, and the sales team will review the request.
- Q: What are the MOQ, payment terms and warranty?
- A: These are stated in the written quotation. Ask for the delivery date, the payment stages and the warranty scope at the inquiry stage and keep them in the contract.
