Applications and Target Customers
A small workshop machine is bought for a specific job pattern, not for peak capacity. The tables show who buys it and which rooms and jobs it fits.
| Customer type | Why this size fits | Typical order |
|---|---|---|
| Small mold and tooling shops | Inserts, punches and plates fit the 350 x 450 mm travel | One machine, desktop cabinet |
| Job-shop machinists | Mixed materials and short runs, one operator | One machine with a spare wire kit |
| Maintenance workshops | Reproduce worn parts from a sample or drawing | One machine, quoted with spare parts |
| Technical schools | A single machine and a desktop cabinet suit a training room | One to several machines |
| Importers and distributors | A compact model is easier to ship and place with first-time buyers | Several units, mixed with larger models |
| E-commerce and online machinery sellers | Standard configuration with clear published data | Standard configuration order |
| Setting | What to prepare |
|---|---|
| Workshop bay or garage unit | Three-phase 380 V supply, a load-bearing floor and room around the 1650 x 1250 mm footprint |
| Training room | Ventilation and a stable room temperature, away from strong magnetic interference |
| Maintenance room | Space for the dielectric tank and storage for wire and filters |
| Mold shop | Place the machine away from milling dust and heat sources |
The product page names steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper as materials the machine cuts, and it advises a stable temperature, no strong magnetic interference, a load-bearing floor and good ventilation.
Quality Control Process
Each machine is tested for positioning accuracy before it leaves the factory, and the tests described on the website are static geometric accuracy and dynamic positioning accuracy over the full stroke in both directions. For a small machine, which is often installed by the buyer, the checks after installation matter as much as the factory tests.
| Stage | Check | Source |
|---|---|---|
| Before shipment | Positioning accuracy test on each machine tool | Stated by the factory |
| Before shipment | Static geometric accuracy and dynamic positioning accuracy, full stroke, both directions | Stated by the factory |
| On unpacking | Check the crate, the cabinet and the wire drum for transport damage | Recommended buyer check |
| On installation | Level the machine on a firm floor and measure the average floor load against the data below | Recommended buyer check |
| First cut | Cut a square test piece and measure it against the programmed size | Recommended buyer check |
| First month | Check the water resistivity, filter and wire guides each week | Recommended buyer practice |
For floor planning, the listed weight of 1100 kg over a footprint of 1.65 by 1.25 meters is an average of about 533 kg per square meter, calculated from the published figures. A qualified engineer should confirm the floor.
Production Capacity and Lead Time
The DK-77 series is produced at the factory in Jiulong Town, Hailing District, Taizhou, together with the PS-C, DK-D and DK-BC series. The company exports select models to Southeast Asia, West Asia, Europe and the Americas. Small workshop orders are usually for one to a few machines, so the useful question is when a given machine can be delivered, and that is answered in the quotation.
| Planning item | How it is handled |
|---|---|
| Minimum order quantity | Stated in the quotation |
| Lead time | Stated in the quotation by model and options |
| Standard and busy-season delivery | Ask for the delivery date in writing when you order |
| Payment terms | Stated in the quotation and written into the contract |
| Warranty | Period and scope stated in the contract |
| Information needed to quote | Model, cabinet choice, voltage, destination port and any spare parts |
For a first purchase, it helps to decide three things before the inquiry: the control cabinet (desktop or vertical), the supply voltage at the workshop, and the spare parts to be packed with the machine. With those three answered, the quotation can state the price, the delivery date and the shipping terms in one document, and the buyer can compare it directly with other offers. Orders for several machines can mix models, for example DK7735 units together with a larger DK-7745 for bigger parts.
Procurement FAQ
- Q: How much space and power does a small machine need?
- A: The DK7735 measures 1650 x 1250 x 1830 mm and needs a three-phase 380 V supply, plus or minus 10 percent. Allow extra room for the dielectric tank, the cabinet and the operator.
- Q: What parts can it cut, and in what materials?
- A: The X and Y travel is 350 x 450 mm, the cutting thickness is up to 450 mm and the table load is 300 kg. The product page names steel, stainless steel, aluminum and copper.
- Q: Which DK-77 model should a small workshop choose?
- A: The DK-7725 is positioned for small and medium parts, the DK7735 for medium parts on a larger table, and the DK-7745 for large parts. Choose by the largest part you cut regularly.
- Q: What are the MOQ, payment terms and warranty?
- A: These are stated in the written quotation. Please ask for the delivery date, the payment terms and the warranty in your inquiry and keep them in the contract.
- Q: Can the machine carry our brand?
- A: Nameplate, manual language and packaging marks can be discussed for distributors with their own line. State these items in your inquiry so they appear in the quotation.
